Vintage 19th Century Bausch Microscope Patent Print Art Poster

This patent image was created by using U.S. Patent #US 617,007 Microscope patented 1899 by Edward Bausch and August Koehler and assigned to the Bausch & Lomb Optical Company. The design improvements offered in this patent relate to the substage of the microscope. It was designed to be smaller and more stable than prior substages. This allowed for more stability of the image and a greater ease of use by the observer.
