Schofield Revolver Patent Print Art Poster

This patent image was created by using U.S. Patent #US 227,449 Schofield Revolver patented in 1880 by its inventor G. W. Schofield. This patent offered improvements in firearms - specially a convenient means of removing the cylinder from a revolving firearm, holding it securely in its proper place when preparing to fire and the means by which the hammer was held in the safety notch until ready to fire.
